Fan is an upcoming Hindi language film directed by Maneesh Sharma and featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Award winning makeup artist Greg Cannom has developed the look of Khan in the film. The film is expected to release on 14 August 2015. The film's shooting began in May 2014 in Delhi. Khan's television serial Fauji was also shot in Delhi. Earlier the film was scheduled to release in December 2014 but owing to the injuries sustained by Khan during the shooting of Farah Khan directed film Happy New Year the film 's release date was postponed to 23 January 2015 but not the film is scheduled to release in August 2015. This is the fourth film to be directed by Sharma. He had directed Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Shuddh Desi Romance. Band Baaja Baaraat won him the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director.
